THE PROBLEM:
For more than 110 years, the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry has trained more new dental professionals than any other institution in the state, and today stands as the largest dental care provider in Illinois and the only dental school in the Chicago metro area. Between its DMD, PhD, and MS programs, active research portfolio, and clinics serving tens of thousands of patients annually, the college had a lot of ground to cover, but no single video that could bring its mission, academic excellence, research, and campus experience together for the people who needed to see it: prospective students and residents, patients, and policymakers.
THE SOLUTION:
Digital Alliance Media partnered with UIC College of Dentistry to produce an overview video package combining a hybrid voiceover and docustyle main video with a dedicated campus tour video. The main video pairs professional voiceover with insightful interviews to highlight the college's mission, academic excellence, and research, while the campus tour offers prospective students, faculty, and stakeholders an immersive look at the college's state of the art facilities and learning environment. The full production was built around a collaborative pre-production process, with Digital Alliance handling the voiceover script, shoot planning, and on-site crew.
THE RESULT:
The finished videos give UIC College of Dentistry a polished set of assets to strengthen its visibility and reputation as a leader in dental education, deployed across the college's website, social media channels, recruitment efforts, UI Health Partners, digital displays throughout the college, and presentations.
