The Richard M. Fairbanks Burn Center at Eskenazi Health is among the leading burn centers in the country and the first verified adult burn center in the state of Indiana, verified by both the American College of Surgeons and the American Burn Association. Located on the fourth floor of the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Hospital, the center includes 15 private beds, two dedicated burn operating rooms, a physical therapy gym, state-of-the-art laser therapy services, and a clinic that recorded more than 3,000 outpatient visits and 400 inpatient admissions in 2025. The center also operates a direct heliport connection to the hospital and a 24-hour consultation line for transferring medical personnel statewide.
